Over time, many of you have shared your insights and suggestions regarding the CISON V2 engine, and we’ve taken them to heart. As a result, we’re excited to introduce the latest upgraded version of the CISON V2, featuring significant technical enhancements that make this engine even more powerful and efficient.
What’s New? A Breakdown of the Key Upgrades
🔧 Displacement Increased: 9cc → 15.7cc → 18.2cc
- Originally designed with a 9cc displacement, we first upgraded to 15.7cc to enhance power output and efficiency.
- Now, after further refinements, we’ve pushed the displacement to 18.2cc, allowing for higher fuel combustion capacity, increased torque, and improved overall performance.
⚙ Larger Bore: 16.67mm → 20mm
- A larger bore diameter directly improves the engine’s volumetric efficiency, meaning more air and fuel can enter the combustion chamber.
- This results in more power per cycle, making the engine run smoother and more efficiently.
🔩 Extended Stroke: 21mm → 29mm
- By increasing the stroke length, we’ve effectively boosted the torque output of the engine, allowing for stronger and more stable performance at lower RPMs.
- A longer stroke also enhances fuel efficiency by improving the compression ratio and combustion process.
💨 Upgraded Exhaust System: Stainless Steel → 3D-Printed Exhaust
- The new 3D-printed exhaust system provides a more lightweight yet durable structure, optimizing airflow and reducing backpressure.
- This results in better exhaust gas expulsion, which contributes to a smoother throttle response and improved engine efficiency.
When Will You Get the Upgraded Version?
🚀 Starting from January 22, 2025, all CISON V2 engines we ship will be the latest 18.2cc version. If you’ve placed an order recently, rest assured that you’ll receive this upgraded model with enhanced performance.

Mr. Xi & Cison evolved an already GREAT engine, and made it better. The continuous development and improvements is what really stands out about Cison. Looks like the new V2 is now using a reed switch to trigger the CDI instead of a Hall Effect sensor. A reed switch is much more durable and resistant to burning out. Now I’m definitely gonna have to buy one… -to go with my other two Cison Panheads, and my Shovell.
