This trailer is made by Retrol. The new trailer inherits the classic green design and focuses on environmentally friendly production. It comes with two versions: a rotating wheel and a fixed base. It can be used as a statistic model display or you can install this trailer on any equipment, such as a RC car, a steam locomotive, a traction engine etc. It can move forward and backward and turn left and right. Compared with the previous engine, this tractor uses all-metal piston rings and an independent lubrication structure. Once released, it received 50,000 views on Facebook, which shows its popularity and timeless appeal in the field of traction engine models, which can inspire the infinite imagination of generations of agricultural engine enthusiasts.
This trailer is designed based on 1140 diesel engine, which symbolizes the beginning of China's internal combustion engine manufacturing. 100 years ago, China's engine manufacturing technology was introduced from Europe, so the engine production technology at that time was very backward, basically based on imitation. The first 15-hp medium-speed diesel engine is a typical case, showing an obvious European engine style. It was not until this 1140 diesel engine that this situation was truly changed, and it represents the beginning of China's internal combustion engine manufacturing. This 1140 diesel engine, a horizontal single-bar diesel one, was produced by a machinery factory on the northeast coast of China. It has a cylinder bore of 140 mm, a piston stroke of 210 mm, a displacement of 3.21 liters, a running speed of 750 RPM, and an output power of 12 hp. It is said that this engine was first successfully trial-produced in October 1953, but unfortunately, it is difficult to find this prototype on the market at present, and it has become an antique treasured by diesel engine enthusiasts. Although the 1140 diesel engine was withdrawn from the market in the mid-1970s, giving way to more advanced engine alternatives, its contribution to productivity at the time is indelible.

Please note that this Retrol trailer is gasoline-driven, not diesel. At present, if you want to develop a diesel engine model, it is difficult to make it.
which version do you prefer?
Will this be available on an actual tractor chassis as an upgrade to the existing engine(s) used?
A basic gearbox for a functional model would be nice (e.g.: D-N-R)
The wheeled cart is more appealing. I would modify the cart to be made from steel channeled rails with larger spoked wheels, all of the same diameter.
Looks awesome..The one on a wooden plate. And a painted flyweel would look even better
The one with the wheels
I prefere the one on wheels every day of the week. So beautiful! I have seven of your other engines!
why do you keep calling this a steam? looks like an internal combustion engine to me.
