RETROL brings exciting news! After many iterations, we are proud to announce the upcoming release of the Retro Horizontal Mill Stationary Engine Model 4-Stroke Petrol ICE in a stunning new red color. This version includes both gasoline and diesel versions, the diesel model is our first mini compression ignition engine.


1.Why do we keep revising so many times?

Some people say:
I don't understand why the design of the horizontal mill engine is constantly changing. First they changed the head to accommodate the smaller spark plug and also changed the cooling coils. Then they changed the conrod that makes it harder to replace the O rings on the piston. They have changed the sensor position also. Why do all this when it worked as is. Mine is the smaller spark plug version but they have never used any notes on timing the engine because I can't see any timing marks on the gear train from the crank shaft to the cam gear if I need to pull it apart and re seat the valves. Now they want to change it again and I don't like either colour

Good question. First of all, the product needs to be iterated and upgraded, and now there are two new versions, one red gasoline engine and one red diesel engine. It is also our first mini compression ignition diesel engine model of this kind. A real diesel engine is difficult to really make. So we are constantly trying and breaking through.The diesel version is not being considered for the time being.


2.Compared with the old model, the improvements are:

The new model has been upgraded as follows:
1. Optimized performance: The new camshaft supports up and down adjustment of gear clearance, and the gear life is longer. The engine has better sealing, stronger compression, and increased power (the carburetor intake port needs to be enlarged by yourself).
2. Improved structure: Equipped with an independent lubrication system and oil cup, the water pump is updated to a full copper joint to avoid water leakage. The crankshaft and connecting rod are integrated to improve accuracy and reduce the risk of breakage.
3. Enhanced sealing and durability: The improved piston ring seal achieves zero leakage and stronger cylinder compression. The cylinder head technology is upgraded, and the red sandalwood rosewood base is more durable, beautiful and avoids transportation damage.
4. Brand-new design: Added a bright red color, and the pipe surface is copper-plated, which is more refined and durable.
