Multifunctional Homemade Mini Belt Sander for Engine Machine DIY Tools

I have purchased many things from Stirlingkit. Including a few of their tools. This belt sander came to me in horrible condition. It looks like a returned item that was resold to me. The tension roller has deep scratches on the edge, the motor pulley edge is all nicked up and the deck was worn and scratched. The worst part was that it would only run in reverse. If you ran it forward it would always throw the belt. In fact, it came shipped to me with the belt on and yes, the belt was also installed in reverse. So, after adjusting everything it still would throw the belt. I took it apart and noticed some washers missing on one of the rollers! I replace that but it STILL would throw the belt. So, I ended up taking the motor off and made a 3/32” shim giving the motor some down and right shaft angle and then it ran like it should. The unit looks old and used. I am very disappointed with Stirlingkit feeling they can sell me something like this. I am a good repeat customer because the engines and other tools I have purchased look amazing and needed very little adjustments. I feel robbed.

This item is well made and good value for the price, which is reasonable. Comes with tools, extra parts as described, and extra sanding belts. Instructions are in Chinese, but parts are obvious for their application. Only partial challenge will be the control box for the flexible shaft. Again, common sense and a little trial and error will make it all work.
