Dont let its very simple design or parts fool you, this thing starts almost all of my engines no problem! I have always used a drill to start my engines, it has never failed me asides from being quite litteraly overpowered for starting such little engines.
I originally did think about picking up one of these to try and use for my Musa or Retrol engines.
But! I got gifted this little guy with one my my engines by suprise.... And I actually kinda like it! Its pretty darn capable! Almost.
It comes with a charging cable of course, the 4 screws on the back reveal the battery and cable.
The button cover and mini starting rod come in a little baggie. this originally threw me off, but i wasnt going to let a simple button cover i thought was lost put this thing down. But it does come with them!
No instructions needed, charge when you need to. And conveniently start any wood base mounted engine with ease. It starts my M16, R29, Retrol tractor engine, and my hoglet. And all in a package no bigger than the wood base these engines sit on. Without the bit its actually shorter.
Unfortunately. It does not have enough power to crank over the MUSA FV1A Reddog engine. So yer milage may vary. On what it can and cant do.
Id say pick one up if youd like a dedicated starter for the small engines! Beats grabbing the drill ever time!
