Well packaged, and arrived in great condition. The instructions are terrible and so is customer support in answering questions.
If you live in North America you will either need a 220v plug or pick up a something like I did, a VC2000W PowerBright 2000 Watts Voltage Transformer / Converter × 1 that can step power up or down. Converts 120 to 240 nicely.
Plug the 24 volt converter into the 120v socket, and the main power cord into the 220v socket. The 24v converter is rated for 120 to 240 volts. Make sure it's grounded properly and putting the ground wire into the ground does not work. I tried it and it shorts to the primary. I grounded mine to the gas line.
The switches are upside down. Flipped up is off and flipped down is on. Make sure the black dials are turned all the way left before turning power on. Flip the switch to the far right on (down) first, then flip the switch next to in on (down).
The nob to the far left controls the frequency and the nob second from the arc length. I still don't know what the third nob does. Work them together starting with frequency then arc length. I works like a charm.
Before powering off, turn the frequency and arc length nobs left alternately till they are both fully turned all the way left. Then, turn the right switch off (up) then turn the switch next to it off (up). Turn off or unplug the power.
